Andres F. Velasquez
Andres F. Velasquez is a computer vision scientist at the West Virginia Robotic Technology Center. He is responsible for the development of machine vision-based algorithms intended for pose estimation and tracking of cooperative and non-cooperative targets. He is also responsible for the design of experimental tests and the development of virtual simulators used for the evaluation of machine vision-based algorithms.
Velasquez received his doctoral degree in aerospace engineering from WVU. His experience and interests include pose estimation, sensor and data fusion and modeling and simulation of system dynamics.
